LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to announce that the construction of Kindred Resort, the newest luxury, ski-in /ski-out mixed-use development is officially underway. The groundbreaking ceremony for this exciting development will take place on October 3, at 11 a.m. MST. Community partners, Summit County officials, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty brokers, and other key contributors to Kindred Resort will be in attendance to show their support for this exciting addition to the Keystone community.
Located at the base of the Keystone ski mountain, Kindred Resort ski-in / ski-out property is mere steps from River Run’s Gondola and the Village. The development includes three buildings—two five-story towers of residences and a premier RockResorts branded hotel. Additionally, the lower levels provide retail, dining, open spaces, a pool, a ski school, a 250-person indoor event venue, a 100 outdoor event venue, and a private ski club for homeowners and a limited number of resort members. There are 95 residences, ranging from one- to four-bedrooms on the property and every condominium has at least one deck as well as top-of-the-line finishes and appliance packages. The ski club, ski valet, and custom spa services all elevate this property to a level of luxury not currently found in Summit County.
The sale of the luxury condominium units is led by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty brokers, Hank Wiethake and Doyle Richmond. More than half of the residences have already been pre-sold and the team anticipates selling another 25 to 30 percent in the coming months. Buyers include Coloradans looking for a mountain retreat as well as folks from areas like Texas, Florida, California, New York, and the Midwest who seek a respite from the big cities in a resort that offers world-class skiing and a plethora of year-round leisure and adventure activities.
“I am very proud of the success we have had with more than 60% of the residences under contract, which is more than $100,000,000 in pre-construction sales,” commented Wiethake. “We are shattering sales records. Prior to Kindred Resort, the highest sold price per square foot at Keystone was $1,383 and the highest condo sale in Summit County was $1,777. We have multiple properties under contract for over $2,000 per square foot and the project will surpass $200,000,000 in sales volume.”
This unprecedented approach to luxury living in Keystone ushers in a new era of upscale mountain accommodations. In addition to unbeatable access to the ski slopes and unparalleled amenities, each residence is well appointed with fine finishes throughout and breathtaking views from the private balconies.
“Kindred Resort will completely change the experience at Keystone,” said Richmond. “This beloved resort community will now be able to offer a higher caliber of luxury living that combines the very best aspects of the mountain lifestyle – from adventure to services to amenities to overall enjoyment, Kindred Resort offers it all. This groundbreaking event represents the first chapter in Kindred’s legacy of helping people live extraordinary lives.”
