April 1, 2024 – Happy April’s Fools Day. Even though it’s April 1, we’re not fooling around when we say that construction is progressing quickly for Kindred Resort.
The PCL Construction crew broke ground on Kindred Resort in the fall of 2022 and since then, the team has been working toward a 2025 projected opening of the project – one of the most exciting in the ski industry with the best slopeside location.
WEST TOWER UPDATE: Exterior structure is nearly done & crane is removed
As the ski season comes to a close at Keystone (closing day is April 7), the PCL Construction crew is ramping up its work to complete the exterior structure of the West Tower and its 66 luxury residences. The West Tower’s structure is almost finished, and the tower is expected to be “dried in” by next week. In anticipation, the West Tower crane was removed on Thursday, March 28, marking a key milestone in the project.
HOTEL TOWER & EAST TOWER UPDATE
The crew is making tremendous progress on the Hotel Tower. Right now, the crew is working on the roof decking. Once completed, The Kindred Hotel will feature 107 luxury hotel rooms, managed by Vail Resorts’ luxury collection of properties called RockResorts. Over on the East Tower, crews will begin framing in the 5th and final floor next week for the 33 residences.
REAL ESTATE SALES
More than 75% of the residences are under contract with only a limited number for sale, offered by LIV Sotheby’s International Realty. The premier penthouse, East Residence 506, recently went under contract, setting a new record and continuing the sales momentum.
