East Tower crane 4.1

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE | Removing the East Tower Crane

The Kindred Resort team has reached an important milestone – the removal of the East Tower crane. The PCL Construction team coordinated the disassembly of the crane the week of June 17, which signifies the completion of the framing of the East Tower exterior structure and paves the way for next week’s topping off ceremony.

At the resort’s final topping out, guests, investors, owners, club members and the community will have the opportunity to sign the ceremonial beam and celebrate as the last beam is prepped to be set into place, which will “top off” the East Tower and finish the exterior structure of the project. The Kindred team is building the most luxurious new slopeside property in North America and is set to open Kindred Resort with a 107-room upscale hotel, 95 luxury residences and a private club, next spring in 2025.

The crew broke ground on the project in the fall of 2022, which has been called “the next big thing” by Forbes Magazine. More than 75 percent of the residences are under contract, with a limited availability of residences for sale as part of the summer release. Kindred has set a new standard with luxury and service, and is bringing more energy to the River Run Village with the debut of the new base area facilities, including three restaurants, a slopeside meeting & event space and skier services.
