Our construction team has been making great strides during the winter season.
RESIDENCE UPDATES
In the West Tower, drywall is being hung in the corridors, with the installation of the cabinets, tile and drywall underway in the residences. Carpeting is being laid in the West Tower residences and hotel rooms, and the hardwood flooring for the West Tower residences is being installed.
LULA’S RESTAURANT UPDATES
In Lula’s Restaurant, the drywall and ceiling are being installed, and the booths are being positioned and installed. The commissioned public art for Lula’s Restaurant is almost finished. Artist Vanessa Platacis is working on two large-scale murals, as well as several mixed media paintings to represent a geological narrative that begins with a detailed depiction of geometric shapes of gemstones and minerals mined in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, then morphing into native plants and flowers, and finally opening to a view of the Keystone ski slopes. These pieces will be part of Kindred’s public art collection that will be a distinctive and iconic feature of the luxury property.
EXTERIOR UPDATES
The artisans and craftsmen and women are finishing the exterior stonework on the East Tower’s facade, which will be revealed by this spring when the plastic wrap is removed from the East Tower. The construction team is working to put the snowmelt system in place for the driveway and the work on the porte cochère is almost done, revealing a stunning and grand entrance to Kindred .
REAL ESTATE SALES UPDATE
The LIV Sotheby’s International Realty sales team has been busy with a lot of interest, tours and offers. We’re in the final phase of real estate sales for Kindred’s residences, with only 10 more active residences in the MLS as part of the LIV Sotheby’s sales portfolio.

OPENING AHEAD OF THE 2025-2026 SKI SEASON
We’re planning a soft opening of Kindred Resort in Q3 of 2025, followed by an official public opening in time for the 2025-2026 ski season. This timeline allows us to ensure every detail is perfect, and to get the property ready to roll out the red carpet for all of our guests, owners, club members and community.
