DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family along for a kid-friendly guided adventure in Keystone\, Colorado\, led by Keystone Science School. Designed for families\, Kindred Quest blends a playful scavenger hunt\, nature discovery\, and beginner orienteering into a fun outdoor experience in the Colorado Rockies. \n\n\n\nAlong the trail\, kids and their accompanying adult or guardian will follow science-inspired clues\, learn to use a compass\, spot signs of wildlife\, and discover fun facts about Keystone. It’s an engaging way for families to explore the mountain\, learn something new\, and adventure together. \n\n\n\nExperience Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PMDeparture from Kindred’s Lobby: 1:45 PMReturn to Kindred: Approximately 3:30 PM \n\n\n\nExperience Highlights \n\n\n\n\nA 1.5-hour guided family adventure led by Keystone Science School \n\n\n\nInteractive\, science-inspired scavenger hunt along the trail \n\n\n\nBeginner orienteering and hands-on compass navigation \n\n\n\nInteractive outdoor science activities designed to spark curiosity \n\n\n\nFamily-friendly and designed for kids\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWeather-dependent. Private group events may be available for you as well; call to inquire. \n\n\n\nKnow Before You Go \n\n\n\n\nDress for the mountain. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring layers appropriate for changing weather conditions. \n\n\n\nBring water. We recommend carrying a water bottle for the experience. \n\n\n\nMountain conditions apply. The route and activity may change depending on weather\, trail conditions\, and the season. \n\n\n\nParticipation waiver required. Guests will be asked to complete a Keystone Science School participation waiver before the experience. \n\n\n\n\nChildren must remain under parent or guardian supervision throughout the whole experience.
