Bring the whole family along for a kid-friendly guided adventure in Keystone, Colorado, led by Keystone Science School. Designed for families, Kindred Quest blends a playful scavenger hunt, nature discovery, and beginner orienteering into a fun outdoor experience in the Colorado Rockies.
Along the trail, kids and their accompanying adult or guardian will follow science-inspired clues, learn to use a compass, spot signs of wildlife, and discover fun facts about Keystone. It’s an engaging way for families to explore the mountain, learn something new, and adventure together.
Experience Time: 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Departure from Kindred’s Lobby: 1:45 PM
Return to Kindred: Approximately 3:30 PM
Experience Highlights
- A 1.5-hour guided family adventure led by Keystone Science School

Weather-dependent. Private group events may be available for you as well; call to inquire.
Know Before You Go
- Dress for the mountain. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring layers appropriate for changing weather conditions.
- Bring water. We recommend carrying a water bottle for the experience.
- Mountain conditions apply. The route and activity may change depending on weather, trail conditions, and the season.
- Participation waiver required. Guests will be asked to complete a Keystone Science School participation waiver before the experience.
Children must remain under parent or guardian supervision throughout the whole experience.
