Statement from the Artist
This artwork is inspired by Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirit and Hokusai’s The Great Wave. As individuals seek out kindred spirits in the world, they are often met with a sense of awe at nature’s power. The work reflects this dual presence—connection and force—serving as a testament to the enduring power that surrounds us.
