She draws inspiration from fleeting moments—fireflies mistaken for something magical, or light passing through a window—translating these sensations into clay installations that evoke curiosity and delight. Langyher holds a BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her work has been exhibited across the U.S. and internationally, and she has held residencies at Vermont Studio Center, Haystack Mountain School, and Guldagergaard in Denmark, among others.

Statement from the Artist

This installation captures the layered wonder of a Colorado sky – a pink sun, drifting clouds, and hopeful raindrops recalling countless mountain sunsets. Hand-built from coiled clay and glazed in warm, shifting tones, each piece reflects the organic patterns of earth and sky. Together, they create a quiet moment for pause and reflection, inviting viewers to look closer and consider how small details come together to form something whole, much like nature itself.
