Explore Keystone

Kid-friendly, family-approved and ego-free

Keystone Resort is one of the most popular ski resorts in North America and ranked as the top family year-round vacation destination in the Colorado Rockies. Kindred is located right in the heart of River Run Village, just steps from the ski slopes in the winter and the biking and hiking trails in the summer.

Better than ever

Get ready to adventure further and to new heights at Keystone with the new Bergman Express lift. Rise high above the trees where snow-much-fun awaits and the views are just the icing on the cake. Zig-zag through glades or make wide-open bowl turns that are oh-so-sweet. Make your mark on our mountain playground, and for the second season ever at Keystone, get a lift to more than 550 acres of fun above the trees in Bergman and Erickson Bowls.

“Keystone is definitely a place on the move. For years, some of the bigger ski resorts seem to have maxed out and become overcrowded, and there has been a big trend in the industry to look for something new and different. Keystone is not new, but it is different, and suddenly hot.”

Winter

Known for being one of the first resorts to open in the country, Keystone’s ski season typically starts in October and ends in April, with neighboring ski resorts (of Arapahoe Basin and Breckenridge) staying open through Memorial Day weekend. Boasting the world’s largest snow fort and kid-friendly activities, it’s no wonder Keystone continually is ranked as one of the best year-round resorts for families. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, the Keystone area also offers ice skating, tubing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking and more.
