Kindred Resort at Keystone was designed to be a welcoming space to gather kindred spirits together. With a nod to Keystone’s rich history and a bold vision for its future, Kindred Resort is situated in the heart of the action, and welcomes guests, residence owners and club members to the “living room of Keystone.”
Hints of Keystone’s mining history can be seen sprinkled throughout the property’s design in subtle details. Blackened metal reminiscent of the ores of silver and zinc once mined, is offset with rough natural stone fireplaces that reflect the stone walls of the mines. Abstract aerial photography of local mining sites is incorporated into patterns that can be seen throughout the design of the project. Subtle yet rich in history, these elements help to tie the past into the vibrant future of Keystone and Kindred Resort.
Color palettes of the seasons and interior accents of organic patterns inspire the story of Kindred Resort’s connection to the Colorado Rockies. Deconstructed patterns of ice and frost are woven into the design giving the guest an unexpected journey into Keystone’s landscape. Colors ranging from the deep chestnuts and orchres of summer and fall with the rich evergreen and cerulean blue inspired by the winter elements, which then transition again to spring and summer with airy blues and hints of magentas to create a natural ebb and flow of the seasons. The design flows with an energy and beauty inspired by the Snake River, just steps from Kindred.
